Position reporting to role-Lead BA, Retail Banking

Job purpose-Creating, Owning and Managing Business Requirements Across projects in business line

Managerial responsibilities-Basic Managerial Responsibilities relating to coordination with diverse groups - business users, external vendors and stakeholders and BSG team

functional responsibilities-1. Requirements Gathering: The  Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting business and user requirements for business solutions, including functional and non-functional requirements.

 

  1. Requirements Analysis: The  Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing requirements to identify potential issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that requirements are complete, accurate, and feasible.

 

  1. Design: The Business Analyst is responsible for working with teams  including user interface design, process design, and system design, and ensuring that designs meet the needs of  Functional departments and the business.

 

  1. Prototyping: The  Business Analyst is contributing for creating prototypes  to demonstrate functionality, user experience, and design, and gather feedback from stakeholders.

 

  1. Testing: The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and executing test cases and scripts, and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure that solutions meet the business and user requirements.

 

  1. Documentation: The Business Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for solutions, including functional specifications, use cases (if any), user stories, and other relevant documentation.

 

  1. Training: The Business Analyst is responsible for providing training to users and stakeholders on new  solutions, features, and functionality.

 

Overall, the functional responsibilities of a Business Analyst in BSG involves gathering, analyzing, designing, prototyping, testing, documenting, and managing solutions, and ensuring that they meet the needs of  Functional departments and the business. Additionally, the Business Analyst should have strong data analysis skills to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications-Graduate/ Post Graduate/ MBA with relevant knowledge and skill in business analysis

Competencies required for role- Exposure to Banking and Business Analysis, Good communication skills, coordiantion skills, time management and team player skills
