Job Description:

1. EHS inspection & all regulatory compliance
2. Liaison with GPCB / CPCB / MoEF / DISH, etc, as to obtain EC, NOC, CC&A and also handling of public hearing.
3. To lead the SHE improvement projects.
4. ETP troubleshooting. Ensure ETP operations and maintain statutory records in order to comply with environmental legislations, update the amendment of environment legislation frequently.
5. To prepare / revise various safety guidelines for hazardous chemicals handling & storage.
6. Governance of safety committee meeting, safety audit, mock drill.
7. Impart safety training and create safety cultures among all employees.
8. Handling and manpower management, work planning and scheduling as per priorities.
9. Ensure valid safety work permit system in the plant.
10. Audit, analysis and report environmental performance to internal and external team.
11. To conduct regular monitoring & evaluation of environmental parameters such as stack emissions, effluent zero discharge norms, noise monitoring etc and ensure that they are within regulating standards.
12. Preparation and adhere to safety budget. Analyses the department wise requirements of PPEs, FFES and other requirements & procurement of material & service contracts.
13. Implementation of safety orientation programme for visitors.
14. Ensuring of the filing & maintaining statutory returns; conduct periodic inspection of premises, safety & fire equipment.
15. Maintain Occupational Health Centre (OHC) and regulate male nurses / FMO as per requirements.
16. Frequently update the amendments/ notification of various applicable Acts/ Rules.
17. Prepare procedure for reporting & investigation of accidents, inspect accident site and identify cause of accident.
18. To conduct environment impact assessment and regulatory compliance assessment.
