Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all facets of plant operations, encompassing production, quality control, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Devise and execute strategies to enhance production processes, trim expenses, and boost overall efficiency.
Guide and mentor a team comprising production staff, supervisors, and technicians to ensure optimal performance and output.
Institute and uphold stringent quality control measures to guarantee product adherence to specifications and customer demands.
Forge collaborations with various departments like engineering, procurement, and logistics to streamline operations and meet production objectives.
Ensure adherence to regulatory mandates, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and institute corrective measures as necessary to meet production targets.
Formulate and manage the plant budget, exercise cost control, and identify avenues for cost reduction.
Champion initiatives for ongoing improvement, lean manufacturing, and waste minimization.
Promote a culture characterized by teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement throughout the plant.

Qualifications and expertise:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in plant management or manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in the rubber or plastics industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing plant operations, driving process improvements, and achieving production targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
