Job Role / Position : Senior Officer / Supervisor

Department : ICT & Communication Function:
Reports to : General Manager

Education Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree in IT preferred.

Experience : 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in IT roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position. Experience of working managing a ERP environment.


Other requirement : - IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are preferred.
- Experience in a wholesale and distributor setting is a plus.

• Project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and integration processes.

Job Purpose : • To oversee all aspects of the company's information technology & Communication infrastructure, systems, and services, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Job Duties / Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement IT policies and standards to ensure security, reliability, and performance of the IT systems and infrastructure.
• To Plan, organize, and direct the IT operations and activities of the company.
• Monitor and guide IT team to Troubleshoot and resolve user level IT and networking issues.
• Analyse the IT needs and requirements of the different departments and provide appropriate solutions.
• Manage the IT budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Identify and improvement/development needs present/discuss with the BOD
• Develop and implement IT policies and standards to ensure security, reliability, and performance of the IT systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and align IT strategies with overall business objectives and goals.
• Create long-term technology roadmaps to support business growth and innovation.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems.
• Plan for and implement technology upgrades and replacements as needed.
• Manage and optimize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that are critical for supply chain, inventory management, and other core business processes.
• Collaborate with different departments and Atturra (service provider) to ensure the ERP system meets the business requirement and processes.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure value for money.
• Ensure and monitor timely backup of data and IT infrastructure.
• Implement and monitor Firewall and other security policies.
• Monitor usage of VPN and ensure security at all time.
• Ensure minimum downtime of critical downtime of critical applications like Opmetrix, QAD, Pay Global, etc.
• Ensure timely process of the invoices for payment.
• Monitor network availability for all sites. Coordinate with network service provider – Digicel to ensure maximum up-time.
• Participate and contribute to internal and external meetings on development projects, manage IT projects from planning to execution.
• Supervise and coordinate the IT team and vendors and ensure quality and timely delivery of IT services and projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems that can improve the business processes and outcomes.
• Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Lead IT security initiatives to protect company data.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions.

Monitor & Support:
• Asset issuance and usage.
• Veeam Backups and Veeam policies and schedule.
• Firewall policies, updates and security alerts
• Monitor and report on the IT performance and metrics.

Critical Evaluation Factors : • Managing the function in the provided budget.
• Implementation of projects in timely manner.
