Responsibilities & Duties:

As a Dynamics 365 Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the overall architecture of Dynamics 365 solutions. Working closely with functional consultants, developers, and other stakeholders, you will provide strategic guidance, ensure architectural integrity, and drive the successful implementation of complex Dynamics 365 projects

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture Design:

• Lead the design and development of comprehensive Dynamics 365 solution architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Define architectural principles, standards, and best practices to guide the implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions across projects.

2. Technical Leadership:
   • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to functional consultants, developers, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between functional requirements, technical solutions, and architectural standards.
   • Expert technologist across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related Azure capabilities, keeping abreast of advances and roadmaps in the Microsoft ecosystem.
3. Platform Evaluation and Selection:
   • Evaluate the suitability of Dynamics 365 and related technologies for addressing specific business needs and requirements.
   • Assess third-party solutions, integrations, and extensions to complement Dynamics 365 implementations and enhance overall system capabilities.
4. Governance and Compliance:
   • Define and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
   • Establish mechanisms for monitoring and managing the performance, scalability, and security of Dynamics 365 solutions.
5. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Dynamics 365 and related fields.
   • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise existing processes, enhance system performance, and streamline implementation efforts.
   • Drive an automation mindset across the teams for building, testing, deployments, integrations.

Experience & Education*

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Knowledge, Skill, ability

• Proven experience (5+ years) working as a Dynamics 365 Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful solution implementations.
• Expertise in designing complex Dynamics 365 architectures, including experience with solution design, data modelling, integration patterns, and scalability considerations.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 capabilities, modules, and functionalities across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and other domains
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in evaluating and selecting third-party solutions, extensions, and integrations to complement Dynamics 365 implementations.
• Experience with cloud technologies, security frameworks, and compliance standards relevant to Dynamics 365 implementations.
• Certification in Dynamics 365 (e.g., MB-700, PL-600, etc.) is preferred.
