Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your existing network of global contacts to identify and engage with reputable suppliers, ensuring access to a diverse range of high-quality products.
- Negotiate contracts and establish strategic partnerships with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements, forecast demand, and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives
- Continuously monitor market trends, conduct market analysis, and leverage industry insights to identify emerging opportunities and mitigate risks effectively.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimization projects across the procurement process, focusing on streamlining operations, reducing expenses, and improving efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities, cost-saving initiatives, and key strategic projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in global sourcing and supplier management.
- Extensive network of contacts within the industry, spanning various regions and sectors
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build productive relationships with suppliers worldwide.
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
