We are seeking an accomplished Global Procurement Specialist with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining a robust network of contacts worldwide. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive industry connections to source high-quality products at competitive prices, ensuring our company's continued success in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your existing network of global contacts to identify and engage with reputable suppliers, ensuring access to a diverse range of high-quality products.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish strategic partnerships with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining stringent quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements, forecast demand, and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives
  • Continuously monitor market trends, conduct market analysis, and leverage industry insights to identify emerging opportunities and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimization projects across the procurement process, focusing on streamlining operations, reducing expenses, and improving efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities, cost-saving initiatives, and key strategic projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success in global sourcing and supplier management.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the industry, spanning various regions and sectors
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build productive relationships with suppliers worldwide.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
