Job Overview:
As a Network Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure. This includes managing FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches, and Ubiquiti WiFi systems. You will monitor network performance and security, identify and resolve issues, and configure necessary network protocols such as VPNs and VLANs to support organizational needs. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that network solutions align with business requirements. Additionally, you will provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on network-related issues.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, implement, and manage the network infrastructure, including FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches, and Ubiquiti WiFi systems.
Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Configure and maintain VPNs, VLANs, and other necessary network protocols to support and enhance organizational operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy network solutions that meet business requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding network-related issues.
Utilize network monitoring tools effectively and apply troubleshooting methodologies to quickly resolve any interruptions or inefficiencies in the network.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in network infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches, and Ubiquiti WiFi systems.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, including VPNs, VLANs, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
