Job Description:

As a Senior Branch Manager at , you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our branch location. You will lead a team of professionals, manage day-to-day activities, and ensure that the branch meets or exceeds sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in sales or operations management, and a deep understanding of the plywood industry.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, warehouse staff, and administrative personnel to achieve individual and team goals.

Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels, replenishment, and stock rotation to ensure adequate supply and minimize stock outs. Work closely with the procurement team to optimize inventory levels and manage costs.

Operational Efficiency:
Streamline branch operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and profitability.

Budgeting and Financial Management:
Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for the branch. Monitor expenses, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines and targets.

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Market Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and threats.

Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, expenses, and other key metrics. Present findings to senior management and make recommendations for improvement.

Customer Service Excellence:
Uphold the company's reputation for excellence in customer service. Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, and take proactive measures to address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in sales management, branch management, or operations management, preferably in the plywood or building materials industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and inventory management principles.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
