Maintenance engineer (Air cooling)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup:
• Install new air conditioning and cooling systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Conduct system tests to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and cooling systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts to restore system functionality.
• System Monitoring:
• Monitor system performance and perform routine checks to identify potential issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess system health and efficiency.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Follow company safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Customer Service:
• Respond to service requests promptly and provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in air conditioning and cooling systems maintenance and repair.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
