Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and handson experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related technologies. The Microsoft 365 Specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 services to ensure seamless operation and maximize productivity. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and maintain all aspects of the Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, licenses, security settings, and compliance.
  • Exchange Online Management: Administer Exchange Online, including mailbox management, email flow configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • SharePoint Online & OneDrive: Configure and manage SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive for Business, ensuring proper permissions, document management, and collaboration.
  • Microsoft Teams: Implement and manage Microsoft Teams for collaboration and communication, including team creation, policies, and integrations.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of the Microsoft 365 environment by implementing best practices, monitoring security alerts, and conducting regular audits.
  • User Support & Training: Provide tier2/3 support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training sessions to improve user adoption and efficiency.
  • Migration Projects: Plan and execute migration projects, such as moving on-premises services to Microsoft 365, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor system performance, generate reports on usage and adoption, and provide insights to optimize the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to integrate Microsoft 365 services with existing systems and workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and management.
  • Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience with security and compliance features in Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of network and security protocols related to Microsoft 365.
