About the responsibilities of the
Position: The main activity of the QA Engineer that he is responsible for all the Quality issues/Parts parameter checking (CMM).
Reporting to: QA Head UACPL
Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Engineering in the stream of Mechanical/ B.E (Mech.)
Desired Experience: Up to 3 to 4 years experience in a Manufacturing company preferably in an Automobile industry.
(CTC 15 to 25 K)
CMM Machine: Faro Edge Arm Portable CMM
Skills Set required/Job Profile :
- Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated.
- Determine program requirements based on design and engineering requirements.
- Update all CMM programs in support of Production and Component Development department.
- Connect with the CMM service provider for code change according to the product requirements
- Configure and monitor connectivity between the data collection software and all CMM’s, manual entry and automatic gauging systems.
- Provide technical and mechanical support for all CMM’s including cleaning, calibration and troubleshooting.
- Validate the product dimensional parameters according to customer standards
- Perform CTQ (Critical to Quality) analysis on a prescribed basis.
- Conduct final product inspection according to the quality parameters specified
