Job Description: Sales Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sales Coordinator to join our sales team. The Junior Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales team in achieving their goals by assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:

    • Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including but not limited to, preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases, and processing sales orders.
    • Handle inquiries from customers and provide prompt and accurate information or escalate as necessary.
    • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  2. Order Processing and Coordination:

    • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
    • Coordinate with various departments such as shipping, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
    • Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers as needed.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and inquiries professionally and courteously.
    • Assist in identifying potential sales opportunities and passing leads to the sales team.
  4. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

    • Assist in the generation of sales reports and analysis of sales data to track performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
    • Compile and maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions and sales transactions.
  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to support their objectives and contribute to overall team success.
    • Assist in coordinating sales meetings, conferences, and other events as required.
    • Actively participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for process improvements or sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
