Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for managing all on-site activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and workers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  •      Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  •      Coordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  •      Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all workers and subcontractors comply with safety standards.
  •      Inspect and review work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  •      Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site.
  •      Communicate project progress, updates, and any changes to project managers and other stakeholders.
  •      Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs, schedules, and cost tracking.
  •      Ensure all materials and equipment are available on-site as needed.
  •      Conduct regular meetings with workers and subcontractors to provide updates and address any concerns.
  •      Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
  •      Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permits.

 

Qualifications:

  •      Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  •      Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
  •      In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  •      Strong leadership and communication skills.
  •      Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  •      Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  •      Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  •      Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  •      Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  •      Proficiency in Hindi and English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  •      Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
