Job Description:
Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of general accounting manager. Responsibilities for general accounting manager
- PeopleSoft General Ledger maintenance
- T-Recs programming and maintenance
- Sales and use tax reporting and filings
- Partners closely with Turner's Tax team to ensure proper legal entity accounting for all domestic entities
- Ensure accurate accounting for domestic joint ventures, investments, and equity activities
- Provide accounting support to the Mergers & Acquisitions team and assist with the integration of new businesses
- Account for domestic derivative and hedge activities
- Oversee domestic legal entity accounting entries including allocation adjustments and transfer pricing entries
- Manage the month-end financial close process for 300+ company-owned restaurants all general and administrative costs
- Review monthly P&Ls and provide meaningful variance explanations of actual results vs
