Job Description:
The Power Plant Head is responsible for leading and managing projects and operations from conception to completion.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Design and Engineering: Oversee plant design, engineering, and procurement.
- Construction Management: Manage construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Schedule Control: Ensure project timelines are met.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage project expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project quality meets industry standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure project compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Safety Management: Ensure project safety and implement safety protocols.
- Commissioning and Testing: Oversee plant commissioning, testing, and handover.
- Project Closure: Ensure successful project completion and closure.
- Plant Operations: Ensure reliable and efficient electricity generation, meeting performance targets.
- Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and operators, fostering a safety-focused and productive work environment.
- Maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure equipment reliability and extend asset lifespan.
- Safety: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Budgeting: Manage budgets, optimize costs, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for growth, efficiency, and innovation.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee projects related to plant upgrades, expansions, or new initiatives, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality delivery.
