Job Description:

Role Summary:

The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to KIA Motors, ensuring the achievement of company goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive growth and innovation. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and senior management team to develop and implement strategies that enhance the company’s market position and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:

❖ Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and overall strategy.

❖ Lead the organization in setting and achieving long-term business goals.

❖ Identify and assess growth opportunities and market trends. • Operational Management:

❖ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

❖ Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.

❖ Ensure the company meets or exceeds financial targets and performance metrics. • Financial Oversight:

❖ Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

❖ Ensure the company’s financial health and stability through prudent financial management.

❖ Identify and mitigate financial risks. • Market Expansion:

❖ Drive market expansion initiatives and explore new business opportunities.

❖ Strengthen the company’s competitive position in existing markets.

❖ Lead efforts to enter new markets and segments. • Stakeholder Engagement:

❖ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and regulators.

❖ Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public engagements.

❖ Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on company performance and strategic initiatives. • Innovation and Technology:

❖ Promote a culture of innovation and leverage emerging technologies to enhance product offerings and customer experience.

❖ Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate relevant technologies into the company’s operations. • Talent Management:

❖ Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.

❖ Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

❖ Lead by example, demonstrating ethical leadership and integrity. • Qualifications:

❖ Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar executive role within the automotive industry.

❖ Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

❖ Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business strategies.

❖ Exceptional financial acumen and experience in managing complex budgets.

❖ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

❖ Experience in driving innovation and leveraging technology to achieve business goals.

❖ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
