Civil Engineer
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will oversee and manage road construction, groundwork, and sewer line projects from inception to completion. This role requires expertise in project management, billing, invoicing, and proficiency in AutoCAD for project designs. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering and a strong background in both technical and financial aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and manage road construction, groundwork, and sewer line projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve detailed project drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
• Oversee the laying and installation of sewer lines, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on road construction, groundwork, and sewer line installation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in preparing and modifying technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction project management and cost control principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
