Job Description:

Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to
join our team, focused on the backpacker accommodation sector in India.
The candidate will be responsible for shortlisting and finalizing partnerships /
Operation Agreements with Indian Brands operating in this space.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a passion for
the travel and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • A. Market Research and Analysis: -
  • Understanding the target Customer Base at the Given Project Locations,analysing the need of travellers.
  • Accordingly research and identify key players in the backpacker accommodation sector who can be the potential “Corporate Facility Operator” (branded) for the facility so created.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to
  • inform strategic decisions.
  • B. Brand Shortlisting: -
  • Identify and shortlist potential brands as Operator, based on market research
  • and company criteria.
  • Evaluate brands based on their market presence, customer reviews, and
  • alignment with company values.
  • C. Finalising the Operations Agreement with Brand / Operator.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shortlisted brands.
  • Negotiate terms of the agreements covering the essential points required for
  • smooth operations of the Transit Accommodation.
  • Ensure all partnerships are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • D. Representations and Participation
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Promote the company’s brand and partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, related role within the travel, hospitality, or accommodation industry.
  •  Proven track record of successful partnership development and management.

  •  Strong analytical and research skills.
  •  Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
