Job Description:

🏢 Job Title: Head – Human Resources


Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Industry: Integrated Steel & Power
Experience: 15 – 20 Years (preferably in manufacturing/steel/power sector)
CTC: As per industry standards (Negotiable for the right candidate)


Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead the company’s HR strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Guide and mentor the HR team across recruitment, compliance, and talent management

  • Drive culture-building initiatives for workforce stability and motivation

2. Manpower Planning & Recruitment

  • Forecast workforce requirements for plant operations and corporate functions

  • Lead senior-level hiring and skill-based recruitment across departments

  • Liaise with recruitment consultants, portals, and internal referrals

3. Industrial Relations & Compliance

  • Maintain healthy industrial relations with unions/workforce (if applicable)

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, ESIC, PF, and Factory Act requirements

  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and legal issues, if any

4. Performance Management & Training

  • Implement structured performance appraisal systems (KRA/KPI-based)

  • Identify training needs and coordinate skill enhancement programs

  • Support succession planning and leadership pipeline building

5. Payroll & HR Operations

  • Supervise payroll, attendance, and HRMS management

  • Oversee HR documentation, employee records, and policy implementation

  • Manage onboarding, exit formalities, and employee lifecycle

6. Liaison & Administration

  • Liaise with government and statutory bodies

  • Oversee security, housekeeping, and other admin services at plant/corporate offices


🎓 Qualifications:

  • MBA in HR / MSW / PGDHRM

  • Strong exposure to HR in manufacturing/steel/power industry

  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and compliance
