Modern Trade Manager
Job Description:
Develop and execute modern trade strategies to increase market share and
revenue.
Identify and prioritize modern trade channels, including supermarkets,
hypermarkets, and chain stores.
Create joint business plans with key accounts to drive mutual growth and
profitability.
Key Account
Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade accounts.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions with key account partners.
Monitor sales performance, track account profitability, and resolve any
issues or concerns.
Promotions and
Merchandising:
Plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and merchandising activities in
modern trade outlets.
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and
POS displays.
Analyze promotion effectiveness and ROI to optimize future initiatives.
Market Analysis and
Competitor
Intelligence:
Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends,
consumer behaviour, and competitor activities.
Use market insights to identify opportunities and develop competitive
strategies.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product offerings to stay ahead
in the market.
Cross-Functional
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply
chain, and finance, to achieve business objectives.
Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and business insights to
internal stakeholders.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and execution of
modern trade strategies.
Job knowledge, skills, and experience:
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
(preferred). (or equivalent work experience)
