Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Management:

    • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Manage pricing strategies, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  2. Transportation Management:

    • Oversee the logistics and transportation operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
    • Optimize transportation routes and manage relationships with carriers and freight forwarders.
    • Implement and monitor transportation policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
    • Address and resolve transportation-related issues and challenges.
  3. MIS Reporting:

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) to support decision-making processes.
    • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational efficiency.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  4. Experience in Manufacturing Unit:

    • Utilize industry knowledge and experience to improve manufacturing processes and operations.
    • Collaborate with production, quality control, and supply chain teams to optimize workflow and productivity.
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing unit.
    • Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions to achieve manufacturing targets.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of transportation logistics and management.
  • Proficiency in MIS reporting and data analysis.
