Job Description: Assistant Manager - EXIM (Export)

Department: EXIM

Functional Area: EXIM - Export

Position Overview:

The Assistant Manager - EXIM will be responsible for the efficient execution of export shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and a proactive approach to handling export-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Shipment Execution, Communication & Coordination:

Prepare export documents.

Coordinate and communicate with the factory, CHA (Customs House Agents), forwarders, buyers, and consultants for various activities related to export shipments.

RoDTEP Scrip Generation:

Handle the generation of RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Export Products) scrips.

EPCG License Management:

Prepare bond cancellation letters.

Address queries and follow up with CHA and consultants for EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) license-related activities.

Bank BRC Follow-up:

Follow up on Bank Realization Certificates (BRC) issuance until closure.

Respond to queries raised by the bank, if any.

Export Document Lodgement in  Bank:

Prepare statements and compile documents for lodgement in Yes Bank.

Preparation of IREX Statement:

Prepare IREX (Indian Regulatory Exchange) statements and covering letters for submission to DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade).

DGFT License Issuance:

Handle the issuance of EPCG and restricted licenses through DGFT.

Data Updation in Compliance Software:

Update data in the compliance software 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export management and EXIM operations.

Proficiency in export documentation and compliance regulations.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Familiarity with DGFT procedures and compliance software.
