Job Description:

The AGM/DGM - Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to enhance sales and market presence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the real estate sector, particularly in business development and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and market expansion goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential markets, projects, and partnerships.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to guide strategic decisions.

Sales Management:

  • Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and nurture relationships with real estate brokers, agents, developers, and other industry professionals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.

Project Development:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of real estate projects.
  • Provide input on project design, pricing, and marketing strategies to ensure alignment with market demand.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development initiatives and client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in business development and sales within the real estate sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the Kolkata real estate market and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
  • Experience in residential and real estate sectors.
  • Established network of industry contacts in Kolkata and surrounding areas.
