Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation and Requirements Gathering: Engage with clients, along with business analysts, to understand their business processes and specific requirements for the D365 F&O ERP system. Translate client needs into functional specifications for customization and deployment. Work with the business analysts to conduct the gap-fit analysis. System Configuration and Customization: Configure the D365 F&O ERP system to align with client requirements, including setup, user interface, workflows, and reports. Ensure the system adheres to industry best practices while meeting specific client needs. Translate the gaps into high-level design documents, support the technical consultants in unit & integration testing and draft the UAT scripts in consultation with the client and business analysts. Project Collaboration and Coordination: Work as part of a project team, collaborating with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely implementation. Assist in planning, executing, and tracking project milestones. Training and User Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training to client users on how to effectively use the D365 F&O system. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and system usability. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the D365 F&O system to identify and resolve issues prior to go-live. Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure the application performs according to the intended use within client operations. Post-Implementation Review and Optimization: Monitor system performance post-implementation and gather feedback from users to make necessary adjustments. Provide recommendations for future enhancements and upgrades to support evolving client needs. Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the supply chain functions. Keep abreast of updates and new features in D365 F&O to leverage the latest functionalities. Work within project timelines and budgets, ensuring that financial modules are implemented efficiently. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any issues.
Qualifications:
Graduation in any stream from a premier institute. Postgraduate in management (with majors in supply chain management, production, or operations) would be preferred. An active Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert/Associate certification is a must. Additionally, an active Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification would be an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Dynamics 365 F&O Expertise: Proficient in configuring and customizing D365 F&O across a range of modules including supply chain, projects, manufacturing, quality, and asset maintenance, and reporting, with a deep understanding of its architecture and core functionalities. Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Strong ability to analyze business requirements, translate them into effective system configurations, and solve complex problems. Experienced in process documentation and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors. Training and Support: Skilled in developing and delivering user training programs, creating comprehensive documentation, and providing ongoing system support to enhance user satisfaction and system usability. Project Implementation Leadership: Knowledgeable in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sure Step implementation methodology, leading project phases, and executing test plans for financial modules. Ability to drive projects to completion and meet client needs. Continuous Learning and Customer Focus: Committed to staying updated on new D365 F&O features and best practices. Maintains a customer-centric approach, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring solutions meet their business needs
