Job Description:
A Sales Head for industrial products is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading a sales team, and driving revenue growth by managing key client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires expertise in the industrial sector, strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Key duties include market analysis, creating sales forecasts, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product delivery.
Key responsibilities

Sales strategy:Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share within the industrial sector.

Team leadership:Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.

Client management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including OEMs, government departments, and electrical contractors, and manage strategic accounts.

Business development:Identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and by identifying prospective client businesses.

Sales activities:Oversee product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with clients.

Market analysis:Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.

Reporting:Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management.

Contract negotiation:Lead the negotiation of contracts and close sales deals.

Qualifications and skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven and successful sales experience in the industrial sector, often with several years of experience depending on the seniority of the role.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
- Sales expertise: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of industrial products and services.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Other: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
