Person Specification:
Ability / Expertise

Essential:
• Experience of working on a frontend web based platform
• Convert business requirements into automatable BDD language (Given, When, Then)
• Demonstrable experience using Java/JBehave (or similar) to write automated tests
• Expertise in UI testing
• Understanding of testing methodologies and their application, including UAT and System Testing
• Experience as an Agile Tester (Scrum, Kanban)
• Demonstrates experience working in Continuous delivery model
• Energetic and analytical approach to problem solving
• Is able to use necessary tools to debug problems with the software
• Is comfortable making decisions to release work to Production
• Is able to stop changes going to Production if they are not of expected quality

Good to Have:
• Has knowledge of CQ6
• Knowledge of financial industry, especially Derivatives, Equities, FX and Futures

Qualifications

MUST be degree educated, having achieved a 2:1 or above in Computer Science (or other technical discipline) and have good A-Level results
