Job Description:

Key Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Excellent understanding of standard audit procedures to ensure the ability to populate auditor data request portals with complete, meaningful, and accurate information.
  • Ability to standardize and package finance related presentations for prospects, directors, and client finance committees.
  • Ability to provide analysis in concise standard accounting formats for presentation to management and directors.
  • Ensure daily updating of delivery trackers.
  • Ensure smooth processing of Accounts Payable and Receivables - delivery & resource planning, Escalation management, Quality review,
  • Process improvements, Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA), Delivery deadlines.
  • Perform monthly Revenue Variance Analysis and Quarterly Trend Analysis.
  • Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure regular updating of process maps, process notes / SOPs / SIPOC etc.
  • Review the updated financial errors in the standard error log and complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Maintain RACI, Exception Log, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Process Control Catalog for clients.
  • Compile and review operating budgets with a design that flows directly to the Chart of Accounts for data measurement and variance analysis.
  • Robust reporting and deep drive analysis of data, and report flow.
  • Review client monthly checklist and ensure timely delivery of quality services as per defined process by the client.
  • Identification of areas of process improvement.
  • Participate in weekly or monthly calls with client and resolve client queries/concerns.
  • Manage and provide guidance to the team, review the work done by the team and ensure timely completion of work by the team as per client daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
  • Performance analysis of the team and maintaining monthly MIS.
  • India Direct delivery of financials or with very less involvement of US CAM.

 

Requirements

Key Requirement:

  • Prior experience in US accounting is required.
  • Excellent understanding of cost accounting principles including best practice allocation methods such as FTE, Weighted FTE and space.
  • Strong analytical review skills
  • Clear understanding of audit and accounting terminology and excellent accounting communication skills
  • Strong staff training skills.
  • Diligent deadline orientation
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Experience in US accounting and software like QuickBooks Online, GP, FE, MIP etc.
Supervisory responsibilities:
  • Lead/manage Accountant and Senior Accountant on assigned clients.
  • Handle work allocation and training/mentoring of assigned team members.
Educational Qualifications:
  • BCOM / MCOM/ MBA/ Inter C.A. (not pursuing C.A.)/C.A. / CMA
Work Experience:
  • 6-9 years Accounting Background, preferably having experience up to Finalization of Accounts, in-depth knowledge & hands on experience in General Ledger (including Payroll, Bank Rec, account Reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables etc.), finalization of financial statements and handling a team.

Working Conditions and Environment:

Working Days: 5 days, Monday – Friday

Working Hours /Shift – 9 hours (US work Shift Pattern), mix of WFO and WFH. The working hours may get extended due to the nature of the business.

The employee must be willing to work at a location in a small-to mid-sized office setting, plus attend client conferences and meetings that may or may not be held during the workday. Travel to other Quatrro locations or client offices may be necessary, as well as physical presence at company meetings with other offices throughout the globe.
