Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and supporting senior management. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

The Accounting Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additionally, the candidate will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments within the organization. Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to senior management on financial matters.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  • Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting software and systems.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
  • Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Working Days & /shift : 5 days, Monday to Friday, US Shift (Timing 5.30 PM to 2.30 AM)

Working Hours – 9 hours (US work Shift Pattern), Hybrid - mix of WFH and WFO, and will have to come to office on need basis.
