QS & Planning Lead (Residential)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled QS & Planning Lead with 6-12 years of experience to manage our projects' quantity surveying and planning functions. This role encompasses city pricing, auditing, project scheduling, monthly forecasting, and the preparation of MIS reports. The ideal candidate will excel in managing internal stakeholders, coordinating project activities, and delivering accurate forecasts and schedules.
Travel: Candidate should be open to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Quantity Surveying and Pricing:
- Develop and review cost estimates and pricing for various city projects.
- Manage interim payments, milestone certifications, and final account settlements.
- Perform BOM variation reviews and assess EOT claims.
- Project Scheduling and Planning:
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
- Perform monthly forecasting to predict and mitigate potential project delays or budget overruns.
- Utilize scheduling tools and software to track progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Conduct regular audits of project costs and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Review financial documentation and reports for integrity and alignment with project budgets.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Collate and analyze project data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Prepare comprehensive MIS reports, including budget forecasts, performance metrics, and project progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records of project schedules, cost estimates, and financial performance.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide advice and recommendations on project costs, schedule adjustments, and risk management.
- Soft Skills and Communication:
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships and facilitate smooth project execution.
Qualifications Required:
- B.E/B.Tech or MBA from Tier1/2 Colleges (Postgraduate diploma in Quantity Surveying or Planning preferred).
- 8-14 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Project Planning, and MIS reporting.
- Proven experience in project scheduling, monthly forecasting, and data management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and financial management tools.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with auditing and ensuring compliance with financial and project management standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
