Service Engineer - Sleep Technician
Job Description:
Interacting with patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner, explaining the purpose of the cardio and sleep test, and providing clear instructions on how to use the device properly.
• Setting up the cardio and sleep testing device at the patient's home, ensuring it is functioning correctly, and providing thorough instructions on how to operate it safely and effectively.
• Monitoring the patient's progress during the test period, offering support and guidance as needed, and addressing any concerns or questions the patient may have.
• Collecting the cardio and sleep testing device from the patient's home once the test is complete, ensuring it is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated for future use.
• Managing the data collected from the cardio and sleep test, generating comprehensive reports with accurate results, and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
• Adhering to quality control standards and regulatory requirements for conducting cardio and sleep tests, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Maintaining detailed records of patient interactions, test results, device usage, and any other relevant information in a secure and organized manner.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in cardio and sleep testing technology, procedures, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose technical issues with medical devices, identify root causes, and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout the testing process, addressing any issues or complications promptly, and ensuring a positive and supportive experience for the patient.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
• Experienced in Sleep Studies, Sleep solution and CPAP and BPAP
• Associate degree or certification in biomedical equipment technology, electronics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in medical device installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
