Job Description:

Key Responsibilities : 

• Actively contributing with the development process such as planning, coding, debugging, testing, deployment etc.
• Understanding systems architecture and design and translating into functional applications
• Performing code reviews, advocating code quality and engineering best practices
• Being involved with R & D, being aware of technology trends
• Managing a small-sized development team and providing mentorship
• Providing On Call escalation support during marquee events and critical system deployments
• Representing company at client forums such as calls, meetings etc. as required

Background and Experience :

• Lead the development and maintenance of complex web applications using JavaScript and jQuery, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices and architectural decisions.
• Utilize Vue.js extensively to architect and implement robust front-end solutions, leveraging 5+ years of experience in Vue.js development. Proficiency in Node.js is highly desired
• Proficient with Cloud Technology (Preferably AWS), Docker, Container, Akamai, Cloud Formation, Redis Cache, CI/CD Pipeline.
• Proficient with Project Management tools like JIRA and Agile methodology.
• Evaluate and integrate other JavaScript libraries and frameworks as needed to optimize application functionality and user experience. 
• Design and implement various types of charts and graphics using advanced techniques with HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and other modern technologies.
• Drive the adoption of UI design principles and responsive web design techniques, ensuring seamless user experiences across different devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange and system integration.
• Utilize APIs provided by social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to enrich application features and functionalities.
• Demonstrate expertise in working with data structures such as XML and JSON, implementing efficient data manipulation and storage solutions.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of mobile development frameworks like jQuery Mobile to optimize applications for mobile platforms.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including designers, product managers, and senior management, to gather requirements and provide project updates.
• Proactively identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and industry best practices.
