Manager - Quality

Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., FSSAI, FSSC, HACCP, GMP, Halal, Kosher etc).
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and mentor the QA/QC team, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment.
• Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of quality processes.
• Oversee the quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products and packing material.
• Ensure that all quality control documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Analyse quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry standards.Ensure all quality control processes meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Drive initiatives to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
• Implement and manage quality improvement projects and programs.
• This role may require occasional travel to suppliers or other facilities.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO).
• Experience with food safety certifications (Food safety team leader, HACCP, SQF).
