AutoCAD Designer (Furnishing Industry)-Vikhroli

Job Description:

We have an urgent opening for the post of AutoCAD Designer for a reputed company at the Mumbai (Vikhroli) location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software based on specifications provided by senior designers or engineers.
• Assist in the preparation of design layouts, schematics, and blueprints.
• Collaborate with project teams to review and revise design drafts as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements in all designs.
• Maintain organized records of design files and documentation.
• Perform routine quality checks and make revisions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Stay updated on AutoCAD software updates and best practices.
• Provide support in project presentations and documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software (AutoCAD certification is a plus).
• Basic understanding of design principles and technical drawing conventions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and building codes.
