Job Description:
Position: EHS Officer
Location: Gandhidham
Experience: 5 - 6 Years
Industries: Wood
Responsibilities:
- To implement safe work techniques and enforce safety policies.
- Periodic review and implementation of EHS strategy and goal.
- Assessment of EHS impacts, risks, and investigation of accidents and incidents to avoid reoccurrence.
- Ensure that personnel working in company are in compliance with company safety policies and legal requirements.
- Compliance with applicable EHS regulatory and statutory legislations, Hazardous waste management & environment monitoring as per statutory requirements.
- Annual planning and budgeting EHS activities.
- Reporting of plant near miss/unsafe act/ unsafe condition/accident/incident.
- To prepare and manage site emergency plan.
- Conduct timely basis Mock drill on different scenarios.
- Conduct monthly committee meetings and prepare action plan of MOM.
- Knowledge of ETP & STP operation.
