Job Description:

Responsible for contributing to a team-oriented environment, prioritizing multiple tasks in order to consistently meet deadlines.

  1. Senior Delivery Manager – End to end
  2. Plan & Coordinate workshops for requirement/design/UAT testing ensure involvement of right stakeholders, CFT & delivery/Design teams.
  3. Collaborate with various cross functional teams to deliver an optimised solution
  4. Maintain backlog of requirements
  5. Prepare, monitor & control detailed plans & milestones for Sprint deliveries
  6. Coordinates closely with business Sponsor, Vendor Developers, Architect and testers to plan project/Sprint delivery execution, while taking responsibility for managing scope, costs and schedule adherence. 7. Manage multiple PODs/projects of sprint deliveries involving multiple vendor teams
  7. Outputs of project planning phase may include:
  8. Create Project plans for achieving timely delivery of projects
  9. Implementing best-practice tools and processes to ensure the project plans & deadlines are clearly defined and communicated to the team and stakeholders.
  10. Contract management and execution with 3rd parties
  11. Manages the execution, monitoring and controlling of the project:
  12. Getting work done from vendor teams as per project objectives & plans
  13. Planned and unplanned changes, risks and issues to ensure rapid delivery and greater predictability.
  14. Internal and external stakeholder involvement to keep them appraised of risks, issues & projects progress through timely reporting.
    1. Changes in priorities/requirements from senior leadership by ensuring members remain agile enough to handle changes with minimal disruption to productivity
    2. Support to UAT by business groups & wherever required taking lead in completing UAT
    3. Ensure successful delivery of projects without any issues
    4. Project closure & handover with operations teams
    5. Vendor engagement
    6. Support & track PR & PO issuance
    7. Technical SOW & contracts drafting
    8. Operational support to application support teams to sort any functional issues.
    9. Supporting deployments & post go live sanity testing to ensure no impact on operational stability
    10. Working as first point of escalation among vendor teams to sort of delivery related conflicts 26. Actively participates and contributes to the organization's PMO community to constantly improve delivery guidelines, templates and processes. This requires working closely with all departments of the organization to gather feedback and ensure any new changes or alterations to existing guidelines, templates and processes are communicated effectively
    11. Performs other work-related duties like reporting, data crunching, cross team training etc as needed.

    2. Strict adherence to SOP and the defined processes
    3. Encourage consistent and continuous compliance is followed by all employees and vendors with safety and regulatory requirements, standards and protocols
    4. Confirm your actions are compliant as per Information Security Policy

     

 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

15 – 20 Years

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering

2. Prince2 / PMP certification will be added advantage

3. Atleast 7 years of IT Projects/program Management experience

4. Minimum of a year of Scrum Master experience and/or managing using an Agile Development methodology (preferable)

5. Experience of managing digital channels (mobile app, whatsapp etc) or middleware integration related development projects will be an added advantage

6. Experience of delivering projects in Telecom is required.

7. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, facilitating status meetings and presenting to large groups

8. Ability to identify problems, to mediate issues, to develop solutions, and to implement appropriate course of action

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high attention to detail and impeccable time management skills

5. Highly proficient with MS Office

6. Knowledge of Devops, agile delivery management tools will be added advantage
