To supervise a numerous employees in production line and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of cell/Line production. Directing team towards continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, etc.) and coordinates the development of the facilities people, processes and capabilities.

Should be aggressive towards Rejection reduction and customer quality improvement.

DME /BE(Mech) with 5- 10 yrs  handling a team of operators to Engineers(Approx. team size 60 operators and Engineers around 5 members)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the Cell/Line Production.
• Ensure monthly production objectives of Cell/Line are met.
• Improvement of the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
• Conduct daily Production meetings and guiding team as a leader towards production excellence.
• Ensure supply of quality materials to customers on time (dispatch)
• Analysis of Daily Rejections & Problems with solutions.
• Ensure identification and removal of wastes and waste producing activities
• Ensure implementation of better shop floor layout to improve cycle time.
• Exposure into TPS, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke and Kanban systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Having a knowledge of line balancing, setting and Trouble shooting.
• Technical expertise and competence(CNC & SPM) HMC,VMC & Lathe, SPM M/C`s like Honing, Drilling & Spot facing, Gantry, Laser Marking, Fracturing, Grinding M/C Setting and Programming
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good in Decision making and problem solving skills
• Good leadership and listening  skills
• Counseling/mentoring of team members
• Ensure maintenance of harmony and discipline in the shop floor
• Interaction with HR and employee union for IR activities.
• Kannada language is must (Native Karnataka candidate Preferred)
