Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates CNC & SPM machinery to machining of forged parts. Supervises CNC Operators and Cooperates and assists all departments in resolving issues as related to jobs.

DME/BE with 3- 5yrs age should be below 30yrs

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the Line Production
• Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements
•  Must be proficient with FANUC controls
• Understands, interprets and edits FANUC G-code programming.
•  Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling.
• Assists in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment.
• Communicates thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management.
• Attends scheduled meetings and actively participates by providing meaningful input.
• Is flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to customer or company as circumstances warrant.
• Communicates directly with the Production Manager on issues related to employees and production.
• Provides constant feedback and input into process improvement within the department.
• Utilizes and abides by ISO/TS requirements and safety procedures.
• Exposure into TPS, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke and Kanban systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Having a knowledge of line balancing, setting and Trouble shooting.
• Technical expertise and competence(CNC & SPM) HMC,VMC & Lathe, SPM M/C`s like Honing, Drilling & Spot facing, Gantry, Fracturing, Grinding M/C
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Counseling/mentoring of workmen/Trainees
• Ensure maintenance of harmony and discipline in the shop floor
• Should be ready to work in rotational shifts
• Kannada language is must.
