Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Description:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecast to provide insights into the Branches’ financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulatory guidelines, including GST, income tax, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for timely completion of audits and tax filings.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making and business planning processes.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the finance team.
• Candidates should possess good communication, coordination, interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with various stakeholders at all levels.
• Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess good proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, Quick Books), and MS Office.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends effectively.
• Candidates should possess sound ability to multitask and prioritize the tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
