Job Description:
A customer service executive has the following responsibilities:
- Customer service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, and provide customer statistics
- Communication: Communicate with customers and vendors by phone and email
- Tracking: Track shipments and vehicles, and monitor order and shipment status
- Documentation: Prepare and review invoices, bills of lading, and other freight-related documentation
- Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers
- Problem solving: Resolve issues and complaints in a timely manner
- Reporting: Compile and submit reports
- Rate requests: Process new rate requests and report irregularities
- Relationship management: Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer Standard Operating Procedures
- Improvement: Identify and communicate ways the company can improve
