Job Description:

 

A customer service executive has the following responsibilities: 
 
 
  • Customer service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, and provide customer statistics 
     
     
  • Communication: Communicate with customers and vendors by phone and email 
     
     
  • Tracking: Track shipments and vehicles, and monitor order and shipment status 
     
     
  • Documentation: Prepare and review invoices, bills of lading, and other freight-related documentation 
     
     
  • Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers 
     
     
  • Problem solving: Resolve issues and complaints in a timely manner 
     
     
  • Reporting: Compile and submit reports 
     
     
  • Rate requests: Process new rate requests and report irregularities 
     
     
  • Relationship management: Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
     
     
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer Standard Operating Procedures 
     
     
  • Improvement: Identify and communicate ways the company can improve
