1 JOB DESCRIPTION Role Title Regional Manager - Commercial Lending Department Commercial Lending Sub Department Large Corporates Sub Sub Department Sales Reports To Business Head Company Bajaj Finance Limited 1. JOB PURPOSE To manage existing client base and to add more clients. Maintaining quality of the asset book managed by self 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES • Source New to Bajaj relationships for Commercial Large Corporate Business (Turnover >2500 Cr). Experience in handling corporate client relationships is preferred • Build a diversified portfolio offering revenues from Assets NII, Fees, Cross sell etc. Asset opportunities to be sourced aligned to the lending norms as prescribed. • Appraise financial strength of client, advise and structure the facility meeting client’s requirement and fitting within policy parameters. • Strong focus on Credit quality. Thorough monitoring of accounts sourced, keep track on customer business and report any early warning signals and take appropriate actions as identified. Build a Portfolio which is strong and nondelinquent. • Regular tracking of progress on the agreed key metrics towards delivering on the strategy. • Track developments in the respective markets and provide feedback to the management team. • Stakeholder management – Coordination with internal as well as external stakeholders 3. MAJOR CHALLENGES • Client Management • Ensuring pristine credit quality 4. INTERACTIONS Internal Clients Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work • Region Head, Business Head, Group Business Head • Credit/ Risk • Operations • COE • Legal 2 External Clients Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work • Client officials, senior management, and promoters • Vendors such as valuers, lawyers, etc 5. DIMENSIONS Financial Dimensions • Net AR growth target while maintaining min NII threshold • Fee income and NTB acquisition applicable 6. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Educational Qualifications a) Qualifications • CA / MBA Finance from a reputed institute preferred. b) Work Experience • Candidate needs to have an overall experience of more than 6 years in a Large Corporate - RM role with a reputed Bank / NBFC would be preferred • Must have exposure in acquiring and managing Large Corporate • In dept understanding of working capital, term lending, promotor financing, structure products etc. • Flair and ability to evaluate business opportunities • Relationship building and networking skills • Strong communications and presentation skills • Ability to get a given assignment/ job completed within the stipulated timeline
