Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in new areas, build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, effectively handle client inquiries, participate in auctions, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the transportation industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Expansion: Identify and explore new business opportunities in untapped markets, develop strategies to penetrate these markets, and lead the expansion efforts.

2. Broker Relationships: Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with brokers, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships and consistent business flow.

3. Client Inquiry Management: Handle client inquiries effectively, providing timely and accurate responses, and converting inquiries into business opportunities.

4. Auction Participation: Participate in auctions, ensuring competitive bidding, and securing new business opportunities.

5. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth.

6. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, specially operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the transportation industry

• Strong understanding of the transportation sector, including market trends and competitor activityExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
