Job Description:

Role / Job Title: Product Head-Inventory Funding               

Function/Department: Two-Wheeler                      

Job Purpose:

The role entails scaling up the inventory funding portfolio for the bank by developing compelling value propositions to expand the existing products, channels, segments, and customer base by delivering banking needs to the customers in the most cost efficient and technology effective manner. It also entails establishing a robust interface with key dealers, strategic partners and Brands and working closely with them to boost volume of business across geographies.

It includes building up teams, systems, process, and culture amenable to the scale and consistency of delivery. Role will closely collaborate with Retail Assets team - Business Heads, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing & Transformation, Policies team, Operations and Collections teams and Technology teams for the same. The role has a P&L responsibility for the BIL & SEPLbusiness contributing to the larger organizational objectives of the bank. This role encapsulates the responsibility of owning the customer journey and experience and charting strategic as well as tactical plans to ensure smooth implementation of organizational strategy and objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Build Inventory funding book comprising of Vehicle Finance & Consumer Durable dealer network across the country.
  • Managing all aspects of product lifecycle including conception, development, launch & after launch progress.
  • Driving and manage product P&L and product roadmap.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to define product vision, goals and priorities.
  • Spear head OEM relationships across businesses.
  • Liaison with Internal and external stakeholders to conceive and develop new Policy and product offerings for the Partners/Customers.
  • Work closely with Sales team and build independent channel relationships to drive business volumes.
  • Work closely with tech team to help build best in class system for all relevant stakeholders- Sales/Credit/Operations and more importantly, enable collaboration.
  • Should be able to manage and guide team to achieve individual goals.
  • Should have Controls, Analytics, and Innovation mind-set to drive Portfolio quality.
  • Fostering a culture of data-driven decision making and accountability for metrics and results.
  • Managing a diverse team of product managers; provide guidance support, and mentorship to ensure efficient collaboration, effective decision making and timely delivery of high-quality products.

Secondary Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the operational processes to monitor business performance, limit utilization, risk flags etc.
  • Work closely with tech team to help build best in class system for all relevant stakeholders- Sales/Credit/Operations team.

Education Qualification:

Graduation: BE/B. Tech/B.Com/B.Sc./BA/BBA/BMS

Post-graduation: MBA (Master in Business Administration) / PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)

Experience: 10 -18 years of product life-cycle experience in Banking and Lending Business
