Required Qualification:

BE/BTech/MSc-IT/MCA

Skill, Knowledge &Trainings:

a.       Should have sound and working knowledge of any programming languages i.e., Java, C++, .net, SQL, Linux(scripting)

b.      Sound skills in troubleshooting issues w.r.t Trading Systems

c.       Having operating knowledge of application monitoring, using state of the art Application Monitoring Systems like Elasticsearch, App Dynamics etc.

Core Competencies:

a.       The candidate is expected to have sound technical knowledge & experience in handling trading systems and its functions

b.      Sound skills in troubleshooting issues w.r.t Trading Systems

c.       Good communication skills

Functional Competencies:

The candidate is expected to have good understanding of financial products particularly Trading platforms

Job Purpose:

The role is crucial for ensuring that the trading systems is operational with minimal business downtime

Area of Operations

Key Responsibility

1.      Production Support Activities

2.      Assisting in finding RCA for issues / incidents pertaining to assigned systems

To ensure Level1 (L1) support to trading/ settlement systems by performing L1 support activities such as:

1.      Beginning of Day (BOD) Activities

2.      Intra-day application monitoring

3.      End of Day (EOD) Activities

4.      Patch upgrade

5.      Web server installation

6.      Troubleshooting & Analysis

7.      Maintaining production SOPs & deploying production releases

8.      Investigating users queries via database queries using SQL, application log file analysis, Order & Trade issues, application flow breaks

9.      Willingness to work in shifts (including night shift)
