Job Overview    As part of our commitment to excellence, we seek a talented individual to join our Contact Center Platform team as an engineer. As a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, you will serve as a vital member of the Dynamics Platform team in implementing and configuring applications to meet our business's specific requirements. Your role encompasses a deep understanding of application implementation processes, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and ongoing support. You will have a deep understanding of the Marketing, Sales, and Finance capabilities within the Dynamics platform and will support leading our respective functions along there business application journey.

 

Responsibilities & Duties*

 Business Application Analysis and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritise requirements for the Marketing, Sales and Finance business applications, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Thoroughly analyse business processes, workflows, and system interactions to configure and tailor the Dynamics platform accordingly.
  • Actively engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges and introduce relevant features and capabilities of the Dynamics platform that can address their requirements and enhance their operations.

 System Configuration and Administration:

  • Leverage your knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules to configure the system according to business requirements, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
  • Customise and extend Dynamics 365 functionalities to address specific business challenges and enhance user experience.
  • Deep understanding of the platform's administrative features, Power Platform capabilities and ability to design testable and supportable customisations.

 Data Migrations:

  • Execute and oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to Dynamics 365, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to data integrity standards.
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies, leveraging tools and methodologies to streamline the migration process.
  • Bring a deeper understanding of the Dataverse, its extensions for specific modules, and its limitations for practical use in business solutions.

 Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough testing of configured applications to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Testing of scheduled Microsoft updates to the Dynamics platform to ensure customisations are not affected.
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.

Experience & Education*            

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) working as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant or in a similar role.

Knowledge, Skill, ability

  • Expertise in Dynamics 365 modules and functionalities, focusing on application implementation and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of application implementation processes, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Dynamics 365.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.

 

Certification if any

  • Certification in Dynamics 365 (e.g., MB-210, MB-220, MB-230, MB-300, MB-310) is preferred.
