Store Asst Manager at Nerul in Mumbai

Job Description:

Qualification: Graduate and Material management diploma can be preferable.
Experience: min 7 to 12 years experience in overall store activities in chemical industry.
Work location: Nerul Plant location in Mumbai
Reporting to Stores manager

Job Responsibilities:
➢ Ensure availability of required raw materials by continuous follow up with Purchase as per production plan so that there will be no hampering in Manufacturing.
• Obtain production plan from unit planning & indent the required materials with follow with purchase /imports for timely delivered of materials.
• Co-ordinate with QC for materials release as per day wise production requirement.
• Co-ordinate with production heads for day-to-day production planning
• Ensure availability of RM /PM and solvents as per S & OP norms, daily tracking of the same & if required updating with discussion with Central Planning.

➢ Ensure storage of materials as per the required storage condition, with proper segregation & labeling, in safe condition to achieve cGMP requirements.
• Ensure all the material is stored as per proper storage condition, if required help of QA to be taken
• All the stored material is with proper segregation & in dedicated area based on the material property & are having adequate labeling.
• Material is in safe & secured condition for both man & Material.

➢ Monitor the material operations like receipt, dispensing, dispatch as per cGMP procedure to avoid any cross contamination & to achieve manufacturing targets!
• Ensure all the required material is received as per SOP & is accounted for properly.
• Ensure dispensing activity is done as per proper cGMP.
• Ensure dispatched are done as per proper approval & to the right place.
• Ensure cross contamination of material is prevented while handling i.e. by following all procedures strictly.

➢ Ensure all documentation & area is maintained as per cGMP to avoid any deviation.
• Ensure correct status and labelling of all accessories and equipment.

➢ Control inventory cost by controlling non-moving, slow-moving items, clearance before expiry.
• Review the non-moving, low shelf-life items periodically.
• Disposal of these items on timely basis
• Monthly comparison of inventory & action plan for same

➢ Follow safety & statutory compliance by timely updating team members about revised guidelines to avoid any deviation within department.
• safe working conditions on shop floor for man and material and adherence to Health, Safety and Environment policy of company.
