Job Description:
Job Title: Quality Control Head
Department: Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Head is responsible for leading the quality control function to ensure that products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control processes, procedures, and systems to guarantee consistent quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:

Develop and implement quality control strategies aligned with business objectives.

Establish quality goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for quality improvement.
Operational:

Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and coaching.

Develop, review, and update quality control procedures and standards.

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS).

Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions.

Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
Technical:

Develop and maintain quality control processes, including inspection, testing, and certification.

Validate and verify quality control methods and equipment.

Collaborate with research and development (R&D) teams to ensure new product designs meet quality standards.

Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality performance.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
Communication:

Communicate quality control results, trends, and issues to stakeholders.

Provide quality-related training to production staff.

Liaise with customers to resolve quality-related complaints.

Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
