Job Title: Assistant Manager - Quality Control (SID)
Department: Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Quality Control assists in leading the quality control function to ensure products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control processes, procedures, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational:

Assist in managing the quality control team, providing guidance and training.

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS).

Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions.

Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality-related issues.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
Technical:

Develop and maintain quality control processes, including inspection, testing, and certification.

Validate and verify quality control methods and equipment.
-
Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality performance.
-
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

Participate in new product development to ensure quality standards are met.
Communication:

Communicate quality control results, trends, and issues to stakeholders.

Provide quality-related training to production staff.
-
Liaise with customers to resolve quality-related complaints.

Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Administrative:

Maintain quality records and documentation.

Prepare and submit quality reports to management.

Manage quality control budgets and resources.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality objectives are met.
