• Should have independently handled mid to large scale continuous operating chemical plants.
• Leading a team of engineers of different disciplines for trouble free operation of a unit.
• Candidate must have experience of plants from different licensor across the globe.
• With experience of operating unit with utmost care to well laid safety and quality systems.

Job Description:

• Should have experience of running a continuous chemical plant from different licensors in the world and intricacies involved with wide experience in handling all unit operations and processes.
• To oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
• Review of Ram materials consumption on daily basis.
• Well versed with storage and handling of toxic, hazardous chemicals and aromatic chemicals.
• Well versed with relevant codes and standards and compliance.
• Basic & detail Design Engineering activities for the assigned project in accordance with the Company established procedures. Should be able to work as both process and project lead for the assigned project and have to co-ordinate with project activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and approval of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets Specifications for Equipment and Instruments, Cause Effect Diagrams, Control Philosophies, Shutdown Philosophies, Operation & Maintenance Manuals etc.
• Participate in the HAZARD/HAZOP review, process and other safety evaluations.
• Coordinating functional issues across other engineering disciplines, vendors, contractors, Project Management
• Consultants during various stages of project execution.
• Participate and plan field-commissioning activities and Start-up
• Knowledge of Management of change, Process safety management systems, TQM and other standards like ISO/IMS is must.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety.
• Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.
• Make budgeting plans for the operating units and forecasting.
• Recruit, train and onboard new employees.
• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
• Must have abilities to perform informational roles, interpersonal roles, and decisional roles.
