Your Role (summary):

The accounting and finance manager will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, assistance with end-of-month closing, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for:

• Knowledge of chart of accounts forming part of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account
• Ability to pass correct journal entries independently by identifying the account code
• Processing vendor invoices and employee reimbursements by coding it to correct account codes
• TDS deduction on various services, payment and filing of tds returns
• GST basic domain knowledge and accounting thereof
• Conversant with approval & accounting processes, month end cut off etc
• Ability to read, understand and follow expense policies
• Payments through various banking channels such as IMPS, RTGS, NEFT etc
• Bank reconciliation preparation, settlement of open items.
• Assistance in preparation of various schedules for audit etc

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Certifications:

• Advanced MS Excel skills including basic formulae, and tools such as vlookup, pivot tables etc
• Effective communication skills written and verbal.
• Able to manage emails and respond independently

The experience you bring (Educational Qualification/Experience):

Bachelors of Accounts and Finance (BAF) or Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) with 1-4 years of experience
