Job Summary

We seek an experienced IT Director to spearhead strategic technology initiatives, foster innovation and drive business growth through effective IT governance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ITES, exceptional leadership skills and expertise in navigating digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  1. Develop, implement and maintain IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  2. Conduct market research, competitor analysis and technology trend assessments.
  3. Establish IT policies, procedures and standards.

Infrastructure and Operations 

  1. Oversee IT infrastructure (networks, servers, databases, cybersecurity and cloud services).
  2. Ensure system uptime, performance and scalability.
  3. Manage IT service management frameworks (ITIL) and best practices.

Digital Transformation 

  1. Drive business growth through technology innovation, digitalization and process automation.
  2. Identify opportunities for AI, machine learning and data analytics applications.

Leadership and Collaboration

  1. Lead, mentor and develop high-performing IT teams.
  2. Foster collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
  3. Engage stakeholders on IT strategies, plans and progress.

Vendor and Risk Management

  1. Negotiate contracts and partnerships with IT vendors.
  2. Ensure compliance, data security and business continuity.
  3. Manage risk mitigation strategies and disaster recovery plans.

Financial Management

  1. Develop, manage and optimize IT budgets.
  2. Ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI on IT investments.

Requirements

Essential

  1. 10+ years of IT leadership experience in ITES or related industries.
  2. Strong IT service management knowledge (ITIL certification desirable).
  3. Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity and data analytics.
  4. Excellent communication, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.

Desirable

  1. IT certifications (PMP, CISSP, CISM).
  2. Digital transformation initiative experience.
  3. Industry-specific technology knowledge (CRM software).
  4. Agile methodologies familiarity.
  5. Business acumen and industry trend understanding.

 Nice to Have

  1. Experience with DevOps practices.
  2. Knowledge of emerging technologies (blockchain, IoT).
  3. International IT management experience.
  4. Business continuity and disaster recovery expertise.
